I didn’t start photography as a business—I started it as a mom who realized just how quickly time was slipping by.

For years, our own family portraits were few and far between. Life was busy, there was always a reason to wait, and before I knew it, entire seasons of our lives had passed without being documented the way I wished they had been.

And I felt that.

I also saw how easy it is for moments to be missed—how some kids don’t end up in the photos, how some stories don’t get told the same way. And I knew I never wanted anyone to feel overlooked when it came to something this important.

That’s what shaped the way I photograph today.

When you work with me, you’re not just getting someone to take pictures. You’re getting someone who truly understands how much these moments matter—and how quickly they’re gone.

I’ve spent over 14 years photographing families, seniors, and couples here in Cañon City, creating images that feel real, relaxed, and full of connection. You don’t have to worry about being perfect or knowing what to do—I’ll guide you through it so you can simply be present with the people you love.

I’ve trained through the New York Institute of Photography, earned my Certified Professional Photographer designation through Professional Photographers of America, and attend countless workshops - all to improve my skills - but the most important thing I bring into every session is perspective.

Because I know what it feels like to wish you had more photos.

And I don’t want that for you.
